It's the day everyone looks forward to-- me included. Lately, I've been really tired. I guess it's a pregnancy sympton. I can't wait to go home and take a nap.
Went swimming this morning. The big, hairy, white guy showed up again. Funny though when he saw me and two other black guys in the pool, he stood there for while, then turned around, picked up his gym bag and left. Hmmm...
The lifeguard said he could go in another lane and he just ignored her.
I guess he figured he couldn't be a pool bully today. Oh, well...
No plans this weekend, just to relax. I might start hanging my pictures up and start making my apartment look like a home.

- I am single mother of an 11-year-old boy, who I had just before I turned 27 and now, doing it again at the age of 38. My second baby is due in June. My first child was due to an unplanned pregnancy, but a very welcomed surpise by me, but not by his dad. I've been pretty much on my own from day one, which I was vert strong and confident about doing. I was so in love with motherhood and my little boy that I put my personal life on hold for many years. After kissing a few frogs, I thought I met my prince. We both wanted another child together and I just recently discovered he no longer shared my dreams-- great timing. However, it's not as easy as the first time, but I am trying to dig deep, find that inner strength, move on and enjoy this pregnancy. So please join me as I blog about this new journey and chapter in my life. I want my kids to know that no matter what, they are truly my pride and joy.
